Bob is a Dutch filmmaker whose work inhabits the spaces between reality and imagination, pushing the boundaries of narrative and form. Whether shaping a music video, short, or feature, his work is a relentless search for cinematic truth—emotionally sharp, structurally bold, and visually expressive—inviting audiences into worlds that feel both impossible and deeply human.

Bob studied at the Maastricht Institute of Arts, where filmmaking became a way to reclaim authorship. Now based in Germany with his partner and two kids, he is developing his debut feature, KANKERVET—a raw, unflinching exploration of identity, masculinity, and enstragement—while building a slate of future-facing fiction projects under the bobvboven banner.
